Time:
- At – Use for specific times or small points in time:

- On – Use for days and dates:

- In – Use for longer periods:

- Before – Use to talk about earlier times:

- Ago – Use to talk about time from the past to now:

Place:
- At – Use for specific points or locations:

- On – Use for surfaces or streets:
